Columbia Savage Peak Shirt Jac : A Feminine Twist on an Old Favorite

Columbia's Savage Peak Shirt Jac has been part of my fall uniform for awhile now. I love the 100% cotton fabric that looks like it's been through a special aging wash to give it a worn-in feeling.

I also love the semi-fitted style and the tapered sleeves. I've got plenty of pockets for all my small items: one on each sleeve and two on my chest--all with button enclosures.

Columbia has added a bit of style to this jacket by using a striped ribbon to attach all the buttons. This style is especially appealing in the four sleeve buttons. I like that I can button up the jacket or, when in a hurry, just use the front zipper.

Bottom Line: Columbia has a wonderful line of casual cotton clothes for both men and women. This jacket's a keeper, and we'll keep you posted on new jackets for 06 in in upcoming issues. --E.D. (Dec '05)
