Ski/hike mechanism increases range of motion when hiking uphill, then locks down cuffs when you're ready to ski. Custom-moldable liners offer superior heel hold and foot envelopment; materials enhance fit, performance and comfort. Helping you rebound out of a turn, a metal plate connects the cuffs to the lower shell and helps control the flex of the boots. Neoprene toe boxes increase warmth in feet and absorb vibrations. Loop on tongues help you put boots on and correctly seat the tongues. 3-buckle closure features a versatile range of adjustment, and a specially designed cuff catch features a comfortable position used for walking. Instep catch is hinged, allowing excellent pressure distribution; plus, it pivots away from the shell, letting the shell spread for easy entry. 45mm rip-and-stick power strap provides effective cuff closure and efficient energy transmission. Rip-and-stick attachment system allows you to set the rear spoiler at different heights for personal preference, or it can be removed completely.
